original artwork of assassin's creed 3 well, if ac3 was to be set in feudal japan that is xD the colors did'nt come out the way i imagined it would be but oh wells, it's my 1st lineart painting anyways xD cheers <: )
I really hope they never do a Japanese assassins creed. I have no problem with Samuria culture, or anything. But please realize that this kind of thing is everywhere. Asian culture in a game like assassins creed would be severely unoriginal and distasteful. I hope I haven't made any fans of such culture mad, just see my point of view when I say I hope this NEVER happens.
Nice concept! My partner and I are huge fans of samurai history and Japanese culture, in addition to big fans of Assassin's Creed, and were discussing recently that we would love to see something like this for a future AC. Perhaps an AC V!
I'm so glad this didn't happen. There are plenty of games about ninjas, feudal japan and crap like that. It's been done a thousand times. I'm not a big fan of the American Revolution, it's not my favorite time period to learn about, but it's miles better than Feudal Japan.
I would have guessed that the opining of Japan to the western world in 1853 caught the eye of the assassins who would have to settle the extremely unstable politics caused by such a massive chock to the general population.
I disagree. If they were to follow traditional japanese standards with relation to representation, (with respect to formality) they would feel fine with wearing the hats. Infact, there are japanese warriors that wear these hats AND a hood because the hood covers the back of their neck and the sides of their faces, protecting them from the cold and at the same time concealing furthermore their identities. I Personally tend to think of the hats as a bit of a bonus to uniform and their occult ways.
